Renal angiomyolipoma is not serious. It is a benign tumor, commonly known as hamartoma, relatively small hamartoma generally do not need to do any treatment, observation and waiting, usually about half a year review, observe the changes of hamartoma. If the diameter of hamartoma is more than five centimeters, this situation may compress the surrounding kidney tissue, may cause certain effects on renal function. If the hamartoma is associated with hemorrhage and local necrosis, surgery is recommended. The surgical method is mainly partial nephrectomy or hamartoma extraction. If the hamartoma is obviously enlarged and acute hemorrhage occurs, embolization is recommended.
