What is homocysteine?

Hyperhomocysteine is called hyperhomocysteinemia. When the

value of homocysteine is 5-15μmol/L, it is abnormal if it exceeds 15μ mol/L. It indicates that homocysteine is too high and can be diagnosed as hyperhomocysteinemia. It is generally caused by long-term drinking, smoking or coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, cerebral infarction, myocardial infarction, etc.
