Homocysteine 9.9μmol/L is generally not high.

Homocysteine mostly exists in the form of disulfide bond and protein binding, and its normal range is 5-15μmol/L. It is used for the screening of cardiovascular diseases, cerebrovascular diseases and osteoporosis. While 9.9μmol/L is in the normal range, it is usually not accompanied by abnormal organic lesions, and there is no obvious discomfort. Therefore, homocysteine 9.9μmol/L is generally not high. If the examination result is>15μmol/L, it indicates that the risk of myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction, coronary heart disease and other diseases is high. It is suggested to further confirm the diagnosis by laboratory examination and imaging examination.
