Hematogenous osteomyelitis is a common type of suppurative osteomyelitis, often due to infectious lesions in other parts of the body, through the blood circulation, spread to the bones, known as hematogenous osteomyelitis. Pathogenic bacteria after blood dissemination, through the body's blood circulation, can occur bacteremia, or induce sepsis, bacterial embolism into the bone nutrient artery, often blocked in the metaphysis capillary, due to slow blood flow there, bacteria easy to stagnate, the site of incidence is often in the metaphysis.
