What are the symptoms of Achilles tendinitis

Healing hearts, healing lives.
The symptoms of Achilles tendon inflammation are mainly pain in the early stage, and the damage of peritendinous tissue is the cause of early pain. Generally, when the patient gets up or walks continuously for a long distance, the pain increases due to the increase of tendon activity in the peritendinous tissue. The pain will also increase during training, and there will be tenderness when pressing the Achilles tendon with fingers. Typical symptoms are mainly pain, stiffness and tenderness above and inside the heel, which will intensify after activity. Pain symptoms can occur in any area of the Achilles tendon, and are usually more pronounced when you wake up in the morning and stop to rest after strenuous exercise. There is intense pain or tenderness when the tendon is squeezed. As the lesion worsens, the tendon will swell and show nodules in the affected area.
