What about cervical numbness?

Healing with compassion, caring with dedication.
Cervical numbness is one of the most common clinical manifestations of cervical spondylosis, cervical nerve mainly comes from upper cervical sensory nerve. Cervical spondylosis mostly shows damage in the lower cervical spine, affecting the nerves, but when the intervertebral body of cervical 1-4 shows joint degenerative changes, due to disc herniation or other reasons involving the corresponding nerve roots, it can be manifested as neck pain or numbness, with numbness at the back of the neck, which can be unilateral or bilateral. The cause should be clarified in time and the spine surgeon should be consulted. In most cases, the spine surgeon will recommend imaging studies, including AP, lateral, hyperextension, and hyperextension radiographs of the cervical spine, MRI scans of the cervical spine, and in some cases CT scans of the cervical spine to identify bone and joint changes.
