Can cerebral infarction be operated on?

Patients with cerebral infarction can be operated on. When the patient has a large cerebral infarction and causes severe increase in intracranial pressure, the patient can be operated by craniotomy to reduce intracranial pressure. If the patient has cerebellar infarction, the patient can be treated by craniotomy.
