To detect homocysteine, a blood test is required.

Homocysteine is a sulfur-containing amino acid and is an indicator of blood test. Venous blood needs to be drawn for testing under fasting conditions. The normal value is 5-15μmol/L. If homocysteine is 15μmol/L, it is considered to be related to lack of B vitamins in the body, type H hypertension, coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, etc., trace element examination, blood pressure measurement, cardiac color ultrasound, coronary angiography, etc. need to be further improved to confirm the diagnosis.
