Low homocysteine generally does not need treatment.

Homocysteine belongs to a sulfur-containing amino acid, its normal value is 5-15μmol/L. Although it exists in a certain normal range, it is usually clinically diagnosed based on high indicators, suggesting that the subject has an increased risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases such as coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction, which is abnormal. However, the index is low and has no practical clinical significance.
