What is rickets osteomalacia?

Rickets children often sweat, crying, irritability, sometimes accompanied by convulsions, throat spasms and other neurological symptoms. Growth plate cartilage hypertrophy, most common in the rib bones and long bone ends, manifested as beaded ribs, bracelets, ankles, etc. Mineral salt deposition disorders in the bone, can cause bending of the long bones, manifested as knee inversion, severe rickets can cause muscle weakness, barrel chest deformity, and thus cause repeated attacks of lung infection in children. Adult osteomalacia clinical manifestations vary greatly, the most common is the bending of the lower limbs, severe cases can cause bone pain and muscle weakness, even pathological fractures.
