Recovery time of radial head fracture

Guiding you with care, every step of the way.
The patient has radial head fracture. If the crack fracture of radial head is shown, the patient is relatively young, conservative treatment is adopted, and plaster support and brace are used for fixation. After 4-5 weeks of treatment, the fracture site can achieve clinical healing. Radial head fracture occurred in young adults, most of which would cause relatively large dislocation of fracture site due to muscle traction. Surgical treatment was taken, open reduction was carried out, internal fixation was given, oral bone-setting drugs were taken after operation, and fracture site could be gradually healed in 6-8 weeks after operation. Radial head fracture occurs in the elderly. Because the elderly are prone to osteoporosis, fracture healing takes a long time. After conservative treatment, it takes about 8-10 weeks to recover gradually.
