What can you do to test for AIDS?

HIV can be diagnosed with a single HIV antibody screening test, or with an HIV supplemental nucleic acid test. If positive, two repeat tests are required. If symptoms of AIDS are already present, a positive HIV supplemental nucleic acid test can also confirm the diagnosis.
