There are several types of coronary heart disease.

Coronary heart disease is coronary atherosclerotic heart disease. Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease can be divided into two categories according to the characteristics and treatment principles, namely acute coronary syndrome and chronic coronary disease.

1. Acute coronary syndrome

Acute coronary syndrome includes unstable angina, non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction, and some scholars include sudden death from coronary atherosclerotic heart disease in this category.

2. Chronic coronary disease

Chronic coronary disease includes stable angina, ischemic cardiomyopathy and occult coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.
