How to improve memory after stroke

The following training can be performed: First, visual memory, first three to five pictures painted with daily necessities, put in front of the patient, tell the patient that each card can be seen for five seconds, and then collect the card, let the patient write down the name of the item seen with a pen, repeat several times, and increase the number of cards after success. The following methods can be used in daily life: 1. Establish a constant daily routine of activities, let the patient repeat and practice constantly. 2. Patiently and carefully ask questions and give orders to the patient. 3. Practice from simple to complex, break the whole exercise into several small steps, train step by step first, and then gradually combine them after success. 4. Use a variety of sensory inputs such as sight, hearing, smell, touch and movement to cooperate with the training. 5. Each training time should be short, and rewards should be given frequently when the memory is correct. 6. Let the patient distinguish the key points, remember the most necessary things first, and not remember some irrelevant trivia.
