What is Acute Stroke?

Stroke, also known as stroke, cerebrovascular accident, acute cerebrovascular disease, is a group of diseases caused by sudden rupture of blood vessels in the brain and blockage of blood vessels, including ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke. The incidence of ischemic stroke is higher than that of hemorrhagic stroke, accounting for 60% to 70% of the total number of strokes. Occlusion or stenosis of internal carotid artery and vertebral artery can cause ischemic stroke. The age is more than 40 years old. Male is more than female. Serious cases can cause death. The mortality rate of hemorrhagic stroke is higher. Investigation shows that stroke in urban and rural areas has become the first cause of death in China and also the primary cause of adult disability in China.
