Heat stroke is the most severe type of heatstroke. It is a disease characterized by elevated body temperature and central nervous system specific symptoms caused by prolonged exposure to heat or strenuous exercise. Most patients present with burning skin, disturbance of consciousness, convulsions, and coma in severe cases, accompanied by clinical syndrome of multiple organ damage. If not treated in time, the mortality rate is relatively high. The prognosis of heatstroke is related to the degree, duration, damage to important organs, age and chronic diseases of body temperature rise. The symptoms of heatstroke are generally mild, patients can show headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting and other manifestations, most of which will be relieved soon after moving to a ventilated and cool place. The probability of death is relatively low.
