Where's the heart?

The heart is located in the middle of the chest, slightly inclined to the left.

Usually the heart is located in the center of the chest, slightly to the left of the sternum. Most hearts are located on the left side of the chest. The top of the heart is called the apex, which is located on the lower left side of the chest, near the bottom of the sternum. The bottom of the heart is located above the sternum, slightly to the left. The heart is mainly composed of four chambers: the left and right atria and the left and right ventricles. The heart is the center of the circulatory system, pumping blood to all parts of the body to meet the nutrient and oxygen needs of cells, while also removing waste and carbon dioxide from cells.
