Gonorrhoea is actually an infectious disease caused by Gram-negative diplococcus, also known as Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Female gonorrhoea presents with frequent urination, urgency, or acute cervicitis. It may show increased discharge, purulent discharge, itching, or burning sensation. Gonorrhoea can be cured. Ceftriaxone or macrocycline treatment can quickly cure it.
