If the clinical laboratory test is negative for gonorrhoeae, it means that you are not infected with gonorrhoeae. The incubation period of gonorrhoeae is 3-7 days. If frequent urination, urgency, and pain are present, but the gonorrhoeae test is still negative, it is recommended to check again seven days later. If the result of gonorrhoeae test is still negative, it indicates that you are indeed not infected. It may be caused by nongonococcal urethritis. Oral azithromycin is recommended clinically. Treatment lasts for 4-5 days until the symptoms disappear. Urine routine can be tested. If the urine routine shows white blood cell plus or pyococcus, antibiotics can be continued for two days.
