High blood pressure is not treated in hospital

Hospital treatment is generally not required for grade 1 hypertension. Blood pressure can be controlled with antihypertensive drugs if there are no other comorbidities, and blood pressure can be monitored daily at home. If there is grade 3 hypertension, a hypertensive crisis, or a cerebral hemorrhage, hospitalization is required.
