Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease caused by gonorrhoea infection. It is normally manifested as acute urethritis in men, cervicitis in women, or asymptomatic. Typically, the skin lesions are few in number, concentrated on the extremities, usually around the extremities and joints, and develop as petechial or papular lesions that develop into blisters or pustules on an erythema basis, which can become hemorrhagic and sometimes appear as hemorrhagic bullae. about 1 to 3 percent of gonorrhea patients develop gonococcal bacteremia, a disseminated gonococcal infection.
