HPV is a virus, not condyloma acuminatum, but the virus that causes condyloma acuminatum is a large type of HPV virus. HPV virus refers to human papilloma virus, which has many subtypes. HPV virus in the mucosal low-risk virus is the pathogen that causes condyloma acuminatum, such as HPV virus type 11, type 13, type 32, etc., but even if infected with these mucosal low-risk HPV viruses, it is not exactly the same after healing between different individuals. Some patients may show condyloma acuminatum, some patients may simply show HPV virus infection, but do not cause condyloma acuminatum lesions. If the patient's external genitals or perianal vegetation shows, HPV needs to be tested, if HPV positive, can be diagnosed.
