Where's the cardiac compression?

Healing with hope, guiding with care.
Cardiac compressions are an important step in CPR to maintain blood circulation. The correct position for cardiac compressions is the lower edge of the sternum.
The heart is usually located in the middle of the junction between the lower edge of the sternum and the costal cartilage. This position is below the heart. Cardiac compressions can be used to promote cardiac contraction and relaxation, which is conducive to cardiac pumping in order to restore systemic circulation. When performing cardiac compressions, make sure the patient is lying flat on a hard surface, then stand on the patient's side, place the palm of your hand on the compression site, place the other hand on the back of your hand, and apply pressure with your body weight to ensure that the compression is deep enough.
