Relationship Between Heart Pain and Left Shoulder Pain

Dedicated to your healing journey.
There may be a certain correlation between dull pain in the heart and pain in the left shoulder, such as pericarditis, angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction, etc. The relevant explanations are as follows:
1. pericarditis
pericarditis caused by pericardial inflammation may also lead to chest discomfort, and radiation to the shoulder or upper back, causing local pain.
2. Angina pectoris Angina
pectoris causes insufficient coronary blood supply, causing chest pain, usually in the central part of the chest, sometimes radiating to the left shoulder, left arm, or even neck or chin.
3. Acute myocardial infarction
When acute myocardial infarction occurs, due to partial muscle ischemia and necrosis of the heart, the patient will feel severe chest pain, which spreads to the left shoulder or left arm by nerve conduction, causing pain.
