What causes recurrent abortion?

There are many causes of recurrent miscarriage. For men, the main causes may be poor sperm quality, high sperm DNA fragmentation, reduced sperm count, reduced sperm motility, or poor embryo development due to genetic factors. For women, more than half of embryos are aborted due to genetic factors that cause chromosomal abnormalities. Some of the maternal genetic factors are treatable and some are treatable. For example, if it is caused by anatomical factors, such as intrauterine adhesions, surgery can be performed.
