Is the probability of fetal hand and foot deformity high?

Fetal hand and foot deformity rate is not high, the incidence of perinatal fetal congenital malformation in China is about 1.31%, the incidence of fetal limb deformity is about 1/500. Moreover, with the current medical level, fetal hand and foot deformity can be well detected by ultrasonic examination, and the normal detection rate can be controlled at about 23%~80%. Pregnant women can be examined regularly to determine the possibility of abnormalities, but for various reasons, fetal hand and foot abnormalities are not included in prenatal ultrasound screening. Therefore, fetal hand and foot abnormalities may occur undetected, which can be treated as soon as possible after birth to reduce the impact on normal life later.
