What is hypertension emergency concept

Healing hearts, one patient at a time.
Hypertension emergency refers to a clinical syndrome in which blood pressure rises sharply in a short period of time, causing serious damage to important organs such as heart, brain and kidneys, and may be life-threatening.
Hypertension emergency usually refers to patients with primary or secondary hypertension. Under certain incentives, blood pressure suddenly or significantly rises, and then symptoms such as headache, nausea, vomiting, palpitations, chest tightness, and consciousness disorders occur. Severe cases may even be complicated by hypertensive encephalopathy, intracranial hemorrhage, acute left heart failure, cerebral infarction, and aortic dissection.
Patients usually need to actively control blood pressure and adopt a healthy lifestyle, such as balanced diet, moderate exercise, weight control, smoking cessation and alcohol restriction.
