What is the role of heart stents

Coronary stents

are medical devices, often used in cardiac interventional surgery, which can dredge occluded or narrowed heart vessels and restore normal blood supply and oxygen supply to myocardial tissue. They are suitable for patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease and acute myocardial infarction. The prognosis of such diseases is usually good in early treatment, and delayed treatment may cause dysfunction due to long-term ischemia of myocardial tissue.

CT, MRI and other examinations should be performed before coronary stent implantation to clarify the heart condition.
