Low blood sugar is not anemia

Hypoglycemia and anemia are not a disease. There is no connection between the two. Hypoglycemia refers to fasting blood glucose concentration lower than 2.8mmol/L, which will lead to sweating, hunger, dizziness and other symptoms, while anemia refers to the decrease of peripheral red blood cell volume, which is lower than the lower limit of normal range. Patients can show dizziness and pale complexion.
