There are three types of gout: primary gout, secondary gout and idiopathic gout.
1. Primary gout
Most gout patients are primary gout, without the influence of other underlying diseases. It is caused by congenital purine metabolism disorder and uric acid excretion disorder, and has certain family susceptibility.
2. Secondary gout
is caused by kidney disease, or taking kidney injury drugs such as neomycin sulfate, gentamicin sulfate, amoxicillin, etc., which causes renal function impairment and the body cannot expel purine; or chemotherapy destroys body cells, increasing uric acid production; or excessive dietary intake of purine causes gout.
3. The
specific cause of idiopathic gout is not clear.
