High blood pressure after surgery

Building a healthier future, together.
High blood pressure after surgery may be caused by mental stress, drug stimulation, blood transfusion and rehydration.
1. Mental stress is caused by
the patient being in a state of conscious stress during surgery, which leads to high mental stress, stimulates sympathetic nerve excitation, strengthens cardiac contraction, increases blood output, and leads to high blood pressure.
2. Drug stimulation
The use of analgesic, sedative and other drugs during surgery can relieve pain and reduce inflammatory reactions, and at the same time cause water and sodium retention in the body, which may lead to high blood pressure.
3. Blood transfusion and rehydration
Due to large amounts of blood transfusion and rehydration during surgery and after surgery, it can supplement effective circulating blood volume, resulting in increased blood volume, thus causing high blood pressure.
