Sequela of cardiac stent surgery

Restoring balance, one patient at a time.
The complications of stent surgery include stent thrombosis, perioperative bleeding and stent restenosis.
1. Stent thrombosis
is usually a foreign object in the body. After stent surgery, it may stimulate local blood vessels, induce inflammation, lead to stent thrombosis, and even severe myocardial infarction.
2. Perioperative bleeding
. Anticoagulant drugs that dilute blood may be used during stent surgery may affect coagulation function in the body. Symptoms of perioperative bleeding may occur. Severe or even massive bleeding or intracranial hemorrhage may occur.
3. Stent restenosis After stent
surgery, stent hyperplasia may accelerate, leading to lipid precipitation in the stent and inducing symptoms of stent restenosis.
