A bilateral choroid plexus cyst is a small, scattered cyst 3mm or larger in diameter found in the choroid plexus of the lateral ventricle during 14-24 weeks of gestation. It is a pseudocyst, as long as it is not more than 10mm in diameter. It is not a structural abnormality of the fetus and generally disappears after 26 weeks of gestation. In view of this phenomenon, it is suggested that pregnant women should do regular reexamination to see if they can disappear by themselves. If they do not disappear, and there is a tendency to increase, it is very likely that there are fetal chromosome abnormalities or virus infection and other problems. Further improvement of examination is needed. Magnetic resonance examination and amniocentesis examination of fetal head can be done.
