What is pyloric canal ulcer?

Pyloric ulcer is an ulcer disease occurring in the narrow tubular structure between the antrum of the stomach and the duodenum. It is mostly associated with Helicobacter pylori infection and can be manifested as postprandial pain, rarely hunger pain or hunger and postprandial pain. If Helicobacter pylori infection is present, it can be treated with quadruple therapy.
