Difference Between Angina Pectoris and Stomachache

Angina and stomachache are different in etiology, pain location and accompanying symptoms.
1. Different causes
Angina is usually caused by coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, myocardial infarction, myocarditis and other heart diseases. Stomachache is caused by gastritis, gastric ulcer, gastric cancer and other reasons.
2. Different pain locations
Angina often occurs in the precordial area and just behind the sternum, showing crushing pain. Stomachache can be manifested as pain under the xiphoid process and in the middle abdomen.
3. Associated symptoms
Angina attacks are often accompanied by chest tightness, panic feeling, dying feeling and other symptoms. Stomachache can be accompanied by acid reflux, belching, weight loss, abdominal distension and other symptoms.
