If you are scratched by a cat, you may get rabies. Rabies cannot be cured for the time being, and the mortality rate is almost 100%. Therefore, after being scratched or bitten by a cat, you must wash the wound in soapy water, and then go to the hospital for rabies vaccination within 24 hours.
