Differential diagnosis between pseudoaneurysm and true aneurysm

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
False aneurysm and true aneurysm usually take vascular ultrasound examination, X-ray examination, CT examination and other examination methods to differentiate.
1, vascular ultrasound examination
true aneurysm usually shows segmental full-thickness expansion of blood vessels and diameter greater than 50% of normal blood vessels, while pseudoaneurysm ultrasound will show local arterial wall damage rupture, blood into the surrounding soft tissue to form hematoma.
2, X-ray examination
true aneurysm X-ray examination can show linear calcification shadow of the aneurysm wall, while pseudoaneurysm X-ray examination without shadow and visible mediastinal widening, trachea and esophagus displacement phenomenon.
3, CT examination
true aneurysm CT examination can observe three layers of aneurysm wall, respectively outer layer, middle layer and innermost layer of intima, while pseudoaneurysm sac wall without arterial wall structure, mainly formed by fibrous tissue.
