The difference between Radix Cyathulae and Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae

Achyranthes bidentata and achyranthes bidentata are different in appearance, smell and effect.

1. Achyranthes bidentata

is slender cylindrical in appearance, yellow brown or gray brown in surface, tough and not easy to break. achyranthes bidentata is cylindrical in appearance, yellow white or light brown in surface, with slightly raised horizontal wrinkles, hard and tough in quality.

2. Achyranthes bidentata

tastes sweet and slightly bitter in smell.

3. Achyranthes

bidentata has the effects of removing blood stasis, dredging joints, diuretic and dredging stranguria. It is often used to treat symptoms such as blood stasis, amenorrhea, traumatic injury, rheumatism and blood stasis.
