What is hereditary heart disease?

Hereditary heart disease generally refers to heart diseases with genetic nature, such as congenital heart disease, coronary heart disease, dilated cardiomyopathy, etc.

1. Congenital heart disease

If the fetus is affected by genetic defects, chromosomal aberrations, congenital metabolic defects and other factors during development, it may cause fetal heart and vascular development abnormalities and induce congenital heart disease.

2. Coronary heart disease

If parents, brothers, sisters and other close relatives are diagnosed with coronary heart disease before the age of 55, the risk of the disease will be relatively increased.
