How to distinguish between Yin and Yang

Your well-being is my top priority.
1. Observing clinical symptoms
If the patient has fatigue, weakness, fear of cold, edema and other manifestations of yang deficiency, it is considered to be kidney yin deficiency. 2. Determining pulse can help to
clarify the type of kidney deficiency. If there is a sinking pulse and seems to be absent, it may be kidney yang deficiency. If there is a fine pulse count, it may be considered kidney yin deficiency.
3
. Observing tongue
can also help distinguish kidney yin deficiency from kidney yang deficiency. If the tongue is found to be enlarged and the tongue coating is light white, and there are tooth marks, it may be kidney yang deficiency. If the tongue is red and less coated or even no coating, it is considered kidney yin deficiency.
