The cardiac conduction system is composed of special myocardial cells, including sinoatrial node, internodal bundle,
atrioventricular node, atrioventricular bundle, right bundle branch, left bundle branch and Purkinje fibers. The sinoatrial node is the pacemaker of normal rhythm and can control the activity rhythm of the heart. When the sinoatrial node sends out impulses, the signals can be transmitted to the atrioventricular node along the internodal bundle, and transmitted to all parts of the heart along the atrioventricular bundle, the left and right bundle branches, and the Purkinje fibers, thus controlling the contraction and expansion of the myocardium and completing the normal heart beat.
