Symptoms of infant hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy

Infant ischemic and hypoxic encephalopathy is divided into three different degrees. Mild ischemic and hypoxic encephalopathy will show hyperarousal state, high muscle excitement and high mobility, such as shaking, tremor, active hug reflex and high muscle tone symptoms. Moderate ischemic and hypoxic encephalopathy will show inhibition state, lethargy, light coma, high muscle tone, and some will be accompanied by convulsions, apnea, hugging or decreased reflex. Severe infantile ischemic anoxic encephalopathy can cause coma, disappearance of state reflex, weakening or disappearance of muscle tone, convulsion 12 hours after birth, and continuous state or cerebral rigidity, this situation had better go to experienced pediatrics or pediatric neurology department of large hospital to see for good.
