What is high heart rate?

Empathy in care, excellence in medicine.
High heart rate may be caused by emotional excitement, fever, coronary atherosclerotic heart disease and other reasons.
1. Emotional excitement
If the patient is in a state of emotional excitement for a long time or in an environment with excessive mental stress, it is easy to cause sympathetic excitability to increase and cause heart rate acceleration.
2. Fever
If the patient measures heart rate during fever, oxygen demand will increase significantly due to increased metabolism and consumption of the body. When the heart is not supplied enough oxygen, it will generally cause high heart rate.
3. Coronary atherosclerotic heart disease
If the patient has coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, when the coronary arteries gradually harden and narrow or block, myocardial blood supply and oxygen supply will also be blocked, which will also cause high heart rate.
