The diagnosis methods of oligodendroglioma include head CT, head MRI and histopathological examination.
1. Head CT
may find low density or isodensity lesions, with streaky calcification and surrounding edema.
2. Head MRI
scan often shows uneven signal intensity, tumor substantial part shows slightly low signal intensity on T1WI, MRI enhanced scan for some tumors shows uneven enhancement.
3. Histopathological examination of
oligodendroglioma The nucleus is oval, the nucleus is deeply stained, and there is clear cytoplasm around it. It is generally "fried egg" and "honeycomb" state. There is a relatively obvious boundary white matter around oligodendroglioma.
