Common causes of cardiac arrest

The common causes of cardiac arrest may be caused by cardiogenic factors, and may also be related to non-cardiogenic factors.

1. Cardiogenic factors

If the patient has coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, it may lead to the occurrence of this disease, and may also be related to myocarditis, aortic aneurysm and other diseases.

2. Non-cardiogenic factors

If the patient has severe asthma, tension pneumothorax, hyperkalemia, hypokalemia and other diseases, or there is acute poisoning phenomenon, such as quinidine poisoning, digitalis poisoning, pesticide poisoning, etc., it will also increase the risk of cardiac arrest.
