Healing with hope, guiding with care.
The diagnosis of infective endocarditis includes physical examination, laboratory examination, imaging examination, etc.
1. Physical examination is
helpful in diagnosing the disease when the patient has heart murmur changes accompanied by abnormal splenomegaly during auscultation of the heart.
2. Laboratory examination is
generally helpful in diagnosing the disease when the patient's blood routine shows anemia, abnormal white blood cells, elevated red blood cell sedimentation rate, and positive blood culture results.
3. Imaging examination is
helpful in diagnosing the disease when the patient's X-ray examination shows multiple small patchy infiltration shadows in the lungs, pulmonary congestion, widening of the aorta, and echocardiography shows vegetation less than 5mm with sensitivity greater than 95%.
