Auscultation characteristics of aortic valve insufficiency

Your health, my priority.
The auscultation characteristics of aortic valve insufficiency include diastolic sigh murmur, water pulse, gunshot sound at femoral artery, etc. The specific analysis is as follows:
1. Diastolic sigh murmur When the aortic
valve is not closed, the blood flow in the aorta flows back to the left ventricle. Due to the slow reflux speed, the sound is not sharp, and diastolic sigh murmur appears.
2. Water pulse
aortic valve insufficiency will lead to sudden pulse ups and downs at carotid artery and radial artery, just like tidal fluctuation, i.e. water pulse.
3. Gunshot sound at femoral artery aortic
valve insufficiency will cause pulse pressure difference to increase. A louder vascular murmur similar to gunshot sound can be heard at femoral artery, i.e. gunshot sound at femoral artery.
