Breast fibroadenoma does not necessarily need surgery. Breast fibroadenoma is a common benign tumor in women. If breast fibroadenoma is small, it generally does not need treatment. Regular review of breast B-ultrasound can be done. But if breast fibroadenoma is large, or fibroadenoma oppresses surrounding tissues, surgery is needed.
