Paroxysmal sinus tachycardia (PS) requires treatment based on the cause of the disease.

The causes of PS include normal physiological reactions, drug effects, and pathological factors. If PS is caused by physiological reactions such as smoking, drinking, and emotional agitation, as well as excessive use of excitatory drugs, it can generally be relieved after the cause is eliminated and usually does not require treatment.
