How is heart valve disease caused?

Heart valve disease may be caused by congenital heart disease, arrhythmia and infective endocarditis.

1. Congenital heart disease

due to congenital heart failure, congenital heart valve stenosis or incomplete closure, resulting in cardiac insufficiency, causing heart valve disease.

2. Arrhythmia

arrhythmia will cause rapid heartbeat, will affect the heart output and myocardial metabolism, leading to heart pumping function decline, causing heart valve disease.

3. Infective endocarditis

Infective endocarditis will change the structure of the heart, at the same time will cause bacteria in the blood, as the disease worsens, bacteria multiply rapidly, aortic valve and mitral valve are affected by blood containing bacteria, will lead to heart valve disease.
